Chairman & MD of Good Relations India, an award-winning Indo-British Market Entry & Positioning consultancy with pan-India offices. Iris has been involved in entrepreneurship, technology innovation and commercialization for over 25 years and in market entry to India for two decades. Her company has handled clients like Apple, Bloomberg, Cartier, CNBC, Marks & Spencer and the UN. Iris has a PhD in Biochemistry from the Weizmann Institute of Science and two post docs in molecular biology and brain research. She is an experienced NED, a mentor at London Business School and member of Investment Committee at Cambridge Enterprise Seed Fund.

Bolun Li

Team Leader

Bolun oversees the organisation of the Health Tech Challenge and is responsible for managing relationships with competition judges and external partnerships. Prior to London Business School, he was a consultant at Deloitte Consulting in Tokyo, working on corporate strategy and M&A in multiple industries including healthcare. Bolun holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Hong Kong and is currently an MBA candidate at London Business School.

Marketing Lead

Erica is the Marketing Lead for the 2020 Health Tech Challenge and is responsible for leading communications and engaging with the wider community. Prior to London Business School, she was an Associate Consultant at McKinsey&Company. She has worked on several projects in the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device sector, focusing on Marketing & Sales, Strategy and Operations. Erica holds a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering and is currently an MBA candidate at London Business School.

Logistic Lead

Gaurav is the Logistics Lead for the Health Tech Challenge and is responsible for managing the on-ground logistics & operations. Prior to London Business School, he was a Consultant at ZS Associate, working on business strategy and change management projects within the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry. Gaurav holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering from VIT University, India. Gaurav is currently an MBA candidate at London Business School.

Vivek is the Communication co-Lead for the Health Tech Challenge and is responsible for managing relationships with external companies and participating teams. Prior to London Business School, he was a Chief of Staff to the CEO of Hazel Health, working on growing small team of 9 to around 40, while they provided increased access to pediatric care. Vivek holds a Bachelor’s degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. Vivek is currently an MBA candidate at London Business School.

Reshvinder Bhullar

Reshvinder is the Communication co-Lead for the Health Tech Challenge and is responsible for managing relationships with external companies and participating teams. Prior to London Business School, she was a medical doctor for 6 years in Singapore, working in numerous clinical teams across disciplines before choosing to focus on primary and preventive care in the community. Resh received her Bachelor's degree in Medicine and Surgery in 2013 from the National University of Singapore. She is currently an MBA candidate at London Business School.

Tanisha is the External Partnership Lead for the Health Tech Challenge and is responsible for managing external relationships. Prior to London Business School, she was a Data Scientist at Merck, working on Artificial Intelligence applications for healthcare and pharmaceuticals, with a special focus on the implications of AI on policy. Tanisha holds a Bachelor’s degree in Bioengineering from Nanyang Technological University. Tanisha is currently an MBA candidate at London Business School.

Jeff Skinner

Advisor

Jeff Skinner is an Executive Director at the Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship of London Business School. He teaches on a variety of MBA and Executive Education programmes at London Business School. He is visiting lecturer at University College London, Gent University and teaches widely to academic, practitioner and student on topics of technology commercialisation, corporate innovation and new venture creation. He consults widely for university and government bodies on Technology Transfer strategy. Prior to this Jeff was Commercial Director of University College London for 18 years, responsible for the creation  of  over 30 technology-based new ventures that together raised over £30m in first round seed and ‘Series A’ finance. He built the university’s licensing, corporate alliance, consulting, business development and seed fund operations. Earlier in career led photonic research teams at  Hoechst  Celanese (in  New Jersey) and General Electric. Founder and past President of the  leading UK and European Technology Transfer Associations (PraxisUnico and ASTP). Also co-Founder of the Professional Body for the technology transfer profession (ATTP) and Chairs their global accreditation group. Holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering, an MBA from London Business School and is a Certified Accountant.

Rajan Sharma

    Advisor

    Dr Rajan Sharma is an advisor for the 2020 Health Tech Challenge. He is an accomplished research fellow, a Bio-nanotechnologist and Biosensor specialist at the University of Leeds. Rajan has over ten years of experience in discharging innovations in bio-nanotechnology and medical diagnostics, leading projects centred on the areas of global importance. Currently, he is developing a novel biosensor to recruit markers of infections and in-turn, help medics to make an informed decision on the antibiotic’s usage. Besides, he has given consultancy to start-ups on related projects. Previously, Dr Sharma has founded his own company and has worked as an Engineer for ABB Limited and Tech Mahindra, India. Rajan holds a PhD in Bionanotechnology from the University of Leeds, UK and is currently doing an Executive MBA at the London Business School.

    Rory Popert

      Co-founder of London HealthTech Challenge/Advisor

      Rory is an Engagement Manager at Strategy& (formerly Booz & Co.) and specialises in Commercial Strategy in Pharma and Life Sciences. He holds a Visiting Lecturer position at ESCP Europe Business School, where he teaches two courses, Commercial Strategy and Entrepreneurship. Rory mentors Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technology start-ups for the ImagineIf (Cambridge University) and P4 Precision Medicine (UCL, Barclays Eagle Labs) Accelerators, including a remote monitoring device and algorithm used to predict acute respiratory events in COVID-19 patients. Rory co-founded the London Health Tech Challenge in 2015 during his MBA at London Business School.
